On Dobbs anniversary, NC student tried to tell Sen. Budd why abortion bans are so dangerous

Charlotte Isenberg, a former anti-abortion advocate who changed her viewpoint, was aggressively confronted by friends and protesters in 2024 as she sought the abortion care she needed. She now uses her experience to help other young people get the care they need and make their own choices.

When she traveled to Washington DC last week for the anniversary of the US Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v Wade, she tried to tell staffers in Sen. Ted Buddโ€™s office about her experience and why abortion bans are so harmful, but they only pretended to listen, Isenberg told Cardinal & Pine.
