Video: Healthcare at risk? Advocates urge NC lawmakers to change Medicaid expansion law

House Bill 696, which passed the North Carolina legislature in April, preserved North Carolina’s Medicaid expansion and protected healthcare coverage for 700,000 enrolled residents.

Cardinal & Pine spoke with Greensboro resident Jane Foy, who helped deliver a letter to Speaker of the House Destin Hall and Senate Pro Tempore Phil Berger, urging them to protect healthcare access and limit cost increases.
