The BIG problem with Trump’s mail-in voting order


With just days to go before absentee ballots go out in North Carolina, a whistleblower warned that the US Postal Service has prepared a “potentially catastrophic” system for handling mail-in ballots.

The Postal Service is developing the system because of President Trump’s controversial 2026 order, which requires the federal agency to work with the states to create pre-approved lists of voters who are eligible for voting.

There are serious concerns about how the president’s order could impact the ability of eligible North Carolinians to get their absentee ballots.

On a recent episode of PBS NC’s “State Lines,” Cardinal & Pine Senior Newsletter Editor Billy Ball says the big problem is where the order comes from in the first place.

It comes from a president with a well-documented history of lying or spreading false information about elections in America.
