North Carolinians who get their power bill through Duke Energy may have noticed that their energy costs are a lot higher this year.
Currently, Duke is asking the North Carolina Utilities Commission to approve an additional rate hike that could see monthly power bills go up even more.
The NC League of Conservation Voters’ Dan Crawford spoke out against the rate hike at a recent press conference.
