We spoke with Jeff Jackson, the Democratic candidate for NC attorney general, about his opponent, Dan Bishop. Jackson didn’t mince words. 

Jeff Jackson, the Democratic candidate for NC attorney general, spoke to us recently about Dan Bishop's support for overturning the 2020 election, and why that makes Bishop a "political extremist."

We spoke with Jeff Jackson, the Democratic candidate for NC attorney general, about his opponent, Dan Bishop. Jackson didn’t mince words.

Dan Bishop tried to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. Now the Republican congressman is running to be North Carolina’s top law enforcement official: the state attorney general.

The possibility of Bishop winning is hugely concerning to Jeff Jackson, his Democratic opponent in November.

“Having a political extremist in that position would be an experiment we have never run before as a state, and I think it would be a very dangerous experiment,” Jackson said.

In a recent interview with Cardinal & Pine, Jackson talked about the differences between him and Bishop.
