From Murphy to Manteo, No Kings protests, marches, and rallies are occurring in communities across North Carolina. Whether you live in a larger metro area like Charlotte, or a small town like Morganton, there are events happening in your community.
On Saturday March 28, North Carolinians will join communities across the country as part of a nationwide protest against the actions of the Trump administration.
This is the third rendition of the No Kings protests, and the first of 2026. Since the last No Kings rallies took place, North Carolina has experienced large-scale ICE raids, and Americans witnessed the killing of two American citizens in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the hands of immigration agents.
In recent weeks, President Donald Trump unilaterally approved a war against Iran without Congressional approval, which has resulted in a region-wide war in the Middle East. The war has led to the deaths of at least 13 American soldiers, and led to gas prices in North Carolina approaching $4 per gallon.
