We’re making progress, but the work is far from over. Every life lost to fentanyl is one too many. The fentanyl crisis doesn’t have one simple cause – nor does it have one silver bullet solution. That’s why I’m using every tool in my arsenal to tackle it. As Governor, I will keep working across the aisle to pursue common-sense solutions to the fentanyl crisis.

Several NC Democrats endorsed Kamala Harris on Sunday, including all 168 of the state's party delegates, Anderson Clayton, the chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, said.
In an interview with Cardinal & Pine, Canton Mayor Zeb Smathers said he believes that the county and town should receive most if not all of the $12 million, if it’s recovered by Stein’s lawsuit.
“My philosophy is pretty basic,” Stein said. “Government can help create conditions for you to succeed, and that’s what we should do. Help you set standards, and make sure that there’s fair rules of the road, and they’re equally enforced, and then get out of the way, and certainly don’t create problems for ourselves.”
