One of the largest comic conventions in the U.S., HeroesCon draws thousands to Charlotte every year. We checked out the fun at the Charlotte Convention Center.
HeroesCon, one of the largest independent comic conventions in America, kicked off in Charlotte over the weekend.
The convention was founded in 1982 by local comic shop owner Shelton Drum and has grown since then, focusing on costumes, comics, and charities too. This year’s event featured an auction benefitting Parkinson’s research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
