Cardinal & Pine contributor Ryan Pitkin wrote that visitors have seen a woman in period clothing traipsing about. They’ve also seen silverware moving on its own and flickering lights.
Included among these Asheville destinations is “Helen’s Bridge” near Zealandia Mansion. According to local legend, the bridge is haunted by a distraught mother who may or may not be able to stop your car’s engine.
