Video: A year after Helene, Gov. Josh Stein says NC still waiting for aid


More than a year after Hurricane Helene, North Carolina has received federal aid covering just 12% to 14% of its recovery costs.

Now Gov. Josh Stein is in Washington demanding $10 billion more. The 2024 storm killed more than 100 people and caused an estimated $60 billion in damage.
