When America celebrates its 250th Anniversary on Saturday, July 4, 21-year old Allison Bustillo wishes she were here. Bustillo, who was detained without charges by ICE for seven months last year, self-deported to Honduras and is actively trying to find legal routes back to the US. She spoke with Cardinal & Pine about her memories of July Fourth and her appreciation for America.
