Democratic state Rep. Beth Helfrich spoke with Cardinal & Pine about the increased debate surrounding data centers in North Carolina.
Helfrich recently co-sponsored the Ratepayer and Resource Protection Act, which would regulate data centers and protect consumers from carrying the burden of rising energy costs associated with large-scale data centers.
