Republican Congresswoman Virginia Foxx of North Carolina got mad after Democratic Rep. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona accused lawmakers of treating the government shutdown like an “eight-week vacation.”
Foxx, who leads the House Rules Committee, called a meeting on the evening of Nov. 11 as the House prepared to vote on reopening the federal government.
