North Carolina Rep. Robert T. Reives II called out House Republicans for overriding Gov. Stein’s vetoes of legislation banning diversity, equity, and inclusion practices from state government agencies and public education.
Reives stated, “we could be focused on policies that actually help improve the lives of North Carolinians, like passing a budget or making life more affordable. Instead, we focus on divisive culture war issues.”
