If Jeff Jackson wins the Democratic Party’s primary for North Carolina Attorney General, he could potentially face Dan Bishop, a fellow member of Congress in the general election.
Jackson says Bishop will seek to further restrict abortion rights in North Carolina.
“He wants to strip women of reproductive freedoms, and he would do that by working in tandem with a state Supreme Court that I think also wants the same thing,” Jackson told Cardinal & Pine.
