A friend has started a GoFundMe to help the couple with medical costs. It had raised close to $30,000 as of Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Wes Parker is now facing the possibility of a heart transplant as the family is navigating insurance requirements.

According to the fundraising posts, the couple has been together for 12 years and are now working together at the restaurant well-known for its pub grub and wings.

Recent illnesses caused fluid to build around his heart.

While he is getting good care, according to social media posts, the situation is still serious, and the couple isn’t able to work. Money raised will be used to help cover medical bills and daily living expenses.
