Mercedes-Benz Stadium really does seem to belong to Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young.
On Sunday, Young helped lead his Panthers to a dominant win over the host Atlanta Falcons. The former No. 1 overall pick completed 23 of his 36 throws for 287 yards and three touchdowns in the 34-3 victory.
After the triumph, the team’s fourth straight over the Falcons, Vashti Hurt of Carolina Blitz caught an excited Mercedes-Benz Stadium employee (and big Panthers fan) waiting at the end of the tunnel for Young and his guys.

Carolina’s previous two visits to Atlanta resulted in a pair of overtime wins. The first, the 2024 season finale, saw Young score five touchdowns and the second, in Week 11 of the 2025 campaign, saw him pass for a franchise-record 448 yards.
Young, not long after the dap, was asked about his dominance inside the venue.
“I think it’s always week to week,” he told reporters. “We always know whatever happens in the past, that’s the past. It doesn’t tell us anything.
“But I am super proud of this group. I’m proud of, again, this was a great team win. Proud of everyone. And then we’re gonna celebrate it today. And then tomorrow, we gotta get back in the lab. Turn the page and get ready for next week.”
Next week’s destination is certainly no Atlanta, Carolina will travel to take on the 1-1 Cleveland Browns in Week 3. But maybe there’s a Panthers fan or two working behind the scenes over at Huntington Bank Field who can make Young and his teammates feel right at home.
