Sinclair Holian is a senior from Greensboro, NC, majoring in journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is interested in writing stories focused on social justice issues, especially at the intersection of politics and identity.

Sara Luterman is The 19th’s caregiving reporter. She’s worked as a freelancer covering disability policy, politics and culture for publications including The Nation, The American Prospect and Vox.

Lia Salvatierra is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill studying journalism and global studies. Lia is particularly interested in long-form stories concerning issues of immigration, education, and elections.

Candice Norwood is a breaking news reporter for The 19th. Before The 19th, she was a digital politics reporter for the PBS NewsHour, a staff writer for Governing magazine covering state and local government, and a freelancer for the Bloomberg News White House team.
