The retiring North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis went nuclear on Kristi Noem during a recent Senate hearing.
US Sen. Thom Tillis, a North Carolina Republican, called Kristi Noem’s tenure as Homeland Security Secretary a “disaster” during a Senate hearing on Tuesday.
Tillis, who is not running for re-election, also threatened to hold up any appointments from the Trump administration until her department provided information he’s been seeking about last year’s ICE raids in the state and her failure to deliver on FEMA recovery funds after Hurricane Helene.
