We talked to Martin Luther King III about the inflammatory comments Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina, reportedly directed at his father. Here’s what King III said.
A recent CNN report alleged that Mark Robinson, the Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina, wrote numerous sexually explicit and inflammatory statements on pornography websites before he ran for office.
The report includes alleged statements so offensive and explicit about civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr., including calling him a “commie bastard,” that we can’t publish all of them here.
We talked to Dr. King’s son, Martin Luther King III @officialmlking3, and his wife, Arndrea Waters King @arndreaking_official, about Robinson’s comments Thursday.
Scroll below to hear what Arndrea Waters King said too.
Robinson has denied everything in the CNN story and pushed back against calls for him to withdraw from the governor’s race. For more on this news story, click here.
