@cardinalandpine WATCH: We love our Coasties in NC! ⚓️ When a boat ran aground off of Beaufort, NC, this weekend, members of the US Coast Guard responded and pulled off a daring air rescue. The crew responded from the Coast Guard's air station in Savannah, Ga, and pulled two men to safety after their boat ran aground and became disabled. According to the Coast Guard, the men were transferred to a nearby airport, where their family was waiting. No injuries were reported. The Savannah crew responded because a crew from the Elizabeth City air base had already completed two medical evacuations that night, so assistance was called in. 🎥: @uscgsoutheast
