His forthcoming book “Here Comes the Sun,” lays out the case for solar power, an industry set to boom in North Carolina until President Donald Trump’s policies cut funding and momentum.
The energy produced by solar power is cheaper than oil and gas and offers “a last chance for civilization,” McKibben writes. He sat down with Cardinal & Pine to talk about solar power, his book, and Sun Day, a national day of advocacy on Sept. 21.
