‘This is war.’ Michele Morrow suggests violence may be necessary  if Trump loses in November

Morrow, who is facing Democrat Mo Green in the bid to lead North Carolina’s public schools, has a history of violent rhetoric, including calling for the execution of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Roy Cooper.

Michele Morrow, who has called for the public execution of Barack Obama and said that Joe Biden and Roy Cooper should be put to death for treason, seemed to suggest to fellow Republicans this month that they might need to resort to violence if Donald Trump loses the election in November.

Morrow, who is running for the state schools superintendent, said in a message to Wake County Republicans on Oct. 1 that “we either willingly fight now, or we will be forced to fight on Nov 6th.”

Election Day is Nov. 5.

“This is war, ladies and gentlemen!,” she wrote.

Morrow has accused the media of rehashing old news when asking about her history of violent social media posts and has scrubbed many of her old posts or deleted old accounts.

She made the new comments as part of a message encouraging Republicans to attend a school board meeting. The comments were included in a ” special announcement” the Wake Forest Republicans posted on their website.

“If we lose NC, we lose the White House and our future,” Morrow wrote.

“Our children are being attacked. This is the American Revolution 2.0!”

We could make some money back from televising his death.’

Morrow is facing Democrat Mo Green, the former superintendent of Guilford County Schools, in the bid to lead the state’s 2500 public schools and be the chief advocate for the 1.3 million kids in the public school system.

In a 2020 post on Twitter, now called X, Morrow said that former president Obama should be shot by a firing squad live on pay per view.

“I do not want to waste another dime on supporting his life. We could make some money back from televising his death,” she wrote.

Soon after CNN broke the story, she returned to Twitter, not to run from the comments but to embrace them.

“This underscores why teaching real history in K-12 is SO important!,” she wrote on Twitter.

“Obama is considered a war criminal by many people. He droned 324 innocent Arabs! Guess what the punishment is for that??”

Morrow’s history of violent rhetoric is long.

She also said that Cooper and Biden should be put to death over their vaccine and mask mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic, and brought her children to what became the Jan. 6 riot, though, she says, she did not participate in the violence.

That night, she posted a video stating that Trump — whose lies that the 2020 election had been stolen from him inspired the riot — should implement the Insurrection Act, “put the Constitution to the side,” and use the military to stay in power.
