WATCH: Too many media outlets just tell you about the outrageous things MAGA Republicans say and do. What about the people running against them? 🤷🏻♂️
Case in point: Since this week’s primary, coverage of the NC race for Superintendent of Public Instruction has been centered on Michele Morrow, the GOP candidate who was at the Jan. 6, 2021 Trump protest that turned into an insurrection. But her opponent, former Greensboro schools superintendent Mo Green, has far more experience in education.
We took a look at Green, who’s hoping to break Democrats’ streak of losing this race. The superintendent doesn’t write education laws, but they are in charge of executing them in all 100 NC counties, so it’s an important job.
