At Duke University, two OB-GYNs are turning their day jobs into dialogue.

Dr. Beverly A. Gray and Dr. Jonas Swartz co-host the “Outlawed” podcast, a North Carolina-based show that unpacks abortion bans, misinformation, and the human stories behind them. The doctors say they’re not political—they’re educators and clinicians trying to make reproductive health something people can talk about, not fight about.

In their latest episode, they sit down with economist Caitlin Myers, economist, professor, and creator of the Abortion Access Dashboard to explore how abortion restrictions ripple through communities, economies, and families across the country.
