For Hannah Preston, founder of Influence NC, a nonpartisan organization run “by Gen Z for Gen Z,” resistance isn’t just protest—it’s survival.
She says young North Carolinians came of age in an era of chaos and division, and now see democracy itself at risk. Through Influence NC, she’s helping her peers turn that anxiety and frustration into action before it’s too late.
