Video: ‘Raging Grannies’ protest Trump in North Carolina

Protesters calling themselves the “Raging Grannies” took part in an anti-Trump demonstration in Greensboro, NC, recently.
There were more than 700 rallies and community events scheduled across the United States to protest Trump’s policies, part of the decentralized “50501” movement. The numerical name stands for “50 protests in 50 states on 1 day,” referencing a push for nationwide protests that took off on Reddit in February.
National organizers called for a “day of action” on April 19, urging participants to hold donation drives for food and clothes, community picnics, cookouts, and other activities to benefit their local communities. For more North Carolina news, sign up for our free, award-winning email.
