Gemini is about playfulness, high energy, and spontaneity. We have ideas for appreciating that in NC.

Welcome to Gemini season! This air sign brings quite the switch up from Taurus season’s slow-moving and grounded ways. The third sign of the zodiac, known for its high energy, playfulness and curiosity, is influencing us all to be on the move and explore our interests.

Astrologer Claire Comstock-Gay writes that this season is a chance to “turn our energies…to the world around us,” meaning this is the perfect time to try new experiences, dive into mental and physical exploration, and switch up your routine if you’ve been stuck in a rut.

Here’s our advice for how to connect with Gemini season in North Carolina:

Get Active

Gemini season is great for spontaneity and having fun. You may already have fun going out to your local brewery, but have you ever gathered a group of friends and biked to one? These 7 NC towns are filled with trails and greenways that have access to breweries – and it sounds like a pretty good way to spend your weekend.

Open A Book

Maybe you’re feeling particularly hungry for little known facts and information, or in need of mental stimulation.  We suggest picking out a book (or two or three) that piques your interest. Here are some lists of fiction and non-fiction to get you started.

If you’re not one for reading, or you are but you’ve finished all your books, have no fear.  Gemini season is for exploring new things, and there is much to see and explore in North Carolina. Take a visit to the natural wonders of our state, or try out a new trail that leads you somewhere cool.

Get Weird

Last but not least, Gemini season may have you leaning into your…weirder side. So if you’re up for a road trip, check out these bizarre buildings across NC or get into the funky spirit of a trip to Wilmington.

We also took a look at astrologers Alexandria Lettman and Roya Backlund’s 2023 Gemini Season horoscopes and here’s a quick synopsis of how Gemini Season will work with each of the zodiac signs:

It’s Gemini Season. Here’s How to Connect with it in North Carolina.

March 21 – April 19

You’re in for a lot of socialization this season and the conversations you have will allow you to share your ideas, cultivate new ones, and come to some insightful realizations about your past. Lettman also recommends doing some fun things for the sake of having fun.

April 20 – May 20

It’s time to put yourself first! Take time to reflect on your wants, needs, and how you can fulfill them. It’s an exciting time to really get to know yourself.

May 21 – June 20

It’s your birthday and that means it’s time to let your hair down and as Lettman says, “go with the flow of the universe.” That might seem like a laid back idea, bu itt also means not shying away from asserting your presence in the world and asking questions that naturally arise within you.

June 21 – July 22

The fast-paced energy of Gemini Season may be pushing you to your limit, so it is especially important that you take the time to rest when you need it. There’s no shame in taking time to yourself, and is in fact the perfect opportunity to reconnect with yourself and cultivate self-love.

July 23 – August 22

Your social network is opening up and you’re reconnecting with your dreams and desires. The people you meet during this share those visions and can encourage you to achieve them. Collaboration is key.

August 23 – September 22

While Gemini Season is driving you to work harder and exceed expectations (as you are very capable of doing), the perfectionist mindset can be a burden. As you accomplish your goals, take stock of how much you have truly achieved rather than what could have gone “better”.

September 23 – October 22

Get ready for adventure, Libra. You are learning a lot right now, from intellectual pursuits to transformative experiences, you are ready to expand your comfort zone. You may also want to prepare yourself for any consequences of procrastination on work.

October 23 – November 21

It’s not quite time to take risks, but your earlier decisions are beginning to show their successes – you may see financial increases and recognition from your peers. Take the time to bask in your achievements.

November 22 – December 21

You are meeting a lot of people right now, but be wary because they are not all your friends. Your relationships are reaching a tipping point and the opportunity to go deeper is just within your reach if you choose to take it.

December 22 – January 19

You’re feeling more productive right now than perhaps you were last season, which is a good thing but make sure not to sacrifice your mental and physical wellbeing. Incorporate selfcare into your week and change up your routine if you’re feeling restless.

January 20 – February 18

This is not the time for seriousness. Go have fun, celebrate your surroundings, and enjoy the exciting energy buzzing around your dating life.

February 19 – March 20

People are showing their love for you at a time when you were questioning it. Spend time with your family and friends this season as you build the sense of home you have been dreaming of.
